🏃‍♂️ WHAT IS THE ISTANBUL MARATHON?
The Istanbul Marathon holds the distinction of being the only marathon in the world run across two continents. Starting on the Asian side, crossing the iconic Bosphorus Bridge, and finishing on the European side, this unique event brings together tens of thousands of runners and volunteers every year. More than just a sporting event, it is a community experience held against the backdrop of Istanbul’s historic texture, cultural richness, and breathtaking scenery.

🙌 WHAT DID I DO?
On November 3, 2024, I volunteered at the 46th Istanbul Marathon, sponsored by Türkiye İş Bankası. During the event:
🗺️ I assisted in guiding and providing information to participants.
🤝 I supported the organization team with on-site coordination.
🌟 I contributed to Istanbul’s sports culture by helping enhance the experience of thousands of participants.

At the end of this volunteering journey, I was honored with a certificate of appreciation from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Spor Istanbul. Being part of the Istanbul Marathon allowed me to feel the energy of the city and gave me the pride of contributing to such a major international event.
