In this project, I worked as the game developer, designing Temple of Enki’s core gameplay mechanics, level progression system, and user interface. Using the Unity game engine and C#, I handled the entire coding process. I worked on various technical aspects, from the match-3 based matching system and animations to user interactions and performance optimizations.
To create an atmospheric experience where players can feel the essence of ancient Sumerian mythology, I developed visual effects, sound integration, and thematic building systems. Optimized for mobile devices, this project required creative solutions within technical constraints, and as a team, we worked intensively to make Temple of Enki a playable and engaging mobile game.
Temple of Enki’s visual design aims to create a mystical and historical atmosphere, adopting a unique 2D art style inspired by ancient Sumerian art. The stones, structures, and backgrounds in the game world are infused with earthy tones, turquoise, and Nile green, evoking the traces of an ancient civilization.
Sumerian inscriptions, god statues, and mythological symbols on the iconic tiles not only strengthen the game’s theme but also offer an aesthetically striking experience. The user interface is designed to be clean and readable, with large buttons and clear icons optimized for touch devices. These visual choices successfully reflect the game’s overall purpose of delivering a mysterious exploration and a relaxing match-3 experience
