In this project, I took full responsibility for the software side of the game development process. Using the Unity game engine and C#, I developed the core mechanics, character movement systems, enemy AI, and interactive environment designs. I programmed actions such as movement, attack, and dash to ensure fluid and responsive player controls. I also implemented the user interface design and interactive systems like in-game scene transitions.
Additionally, I worked on the physics engine to ensure stable collision detection and environmental interactions. I handled performance optimization and debugging processes to guarantee the overall gameplay quality and technical stability of the project. Throughout these stages, I collaborated closely with the creative team to deliver an experience that aligns with the game’s atmosphere and narrative.
The atmosphere and ambiance intended in Enda immerse the player in the weight of a mythological world and a sense of dramatic fate. The game narrates both the inner and physical journey of a character confronting a fiery threat that destroyed their village, while also instilling a constant feeling of danger and uncertainty. Dark cave environments, deeply crafted pixel art visuals, and haunting music work together to strike a delicate balance between despair and hope.
At every step, the player feels the echoes of the past and the weight of destruction, all while contemplating whether the journey will end in salvation or an inevitable fate. This atmosphere delivers an intense experience that blends loneliness, helplessness, and a lingering sliver of hope
